CHURCH SCHOOL AND CHILD CARE
Children and families of all kinds are welcome at First Congregational Church. Families begin the morning together in the Sanctuary, and then children and youth (from preschool through 8th-grade) leave for Church School partway through the service. Church School ends at 11:15am.
Nursery Care is also available for infants and toddlers. Nursery Care is offered by caring, experienced staff in conjunction with parent volunteers from the church community.
First Congregational Church runs a confirmation program for students starting in 9th grade and ending with confirmation in 10th grade. The program is led by our pastor, Rev. Julie Cedrone, and each student works with a mentor through each step of confirmation.
CROSSROADS YOUTH GROUP
Our youth group is a welcoming place for all young adults, from grades 7 to 12. Led by Terry and Jessica Trask, Crossroads Youth Group creates a fellowship between members through frequent meetings and events. They fundraise with events such as an Italian Bistro Night and a Pancake Breakfast on Palm Sunday. Their funds go towards the youth group events as well as donations, for example, Christmas shopping for less fortunate families. The group is always open to new members.
